This page covers the personal details that appear on Fairground and how to have yours removed. It is a short statement of what we do today, not a full privacy policy.

Where speaker details come from

Event pages on Fairground list the speakers named on that event’s own published programme, along with the job title and company shown there. We collect those details from public event and conference websites. We do not buy them, and we do not collect them from anywhere that is not already published.

We did not ask you before publishing your name, and you may not have known the event listed it. That is why this page exists.

Removing your details

Write to privacy@fairground.fyi and tell us the name as it appears and which event page you found it on. That is enough for us to find it.

You do not have to give a reason, and you do not need an account. If you would rather have something corrected than removed, say so and we will correct it instead.

We are working on a fuller account of what we hold and the rights you have over it. This page will be replaced by it.
